NIKON D800 Announced !!!

It's official... the NIKON D800 has been announced today... with an Incredible 36.3 Mega-pixel Full Frame Sensor... the competition has been left behind.

Gareth has a great passion for travel and has travelled the world ( Over 20 Countries ) in an effort to photograph and explore wild places. Gareth has travelled extensively throughout the Nepal Himalaya (4 Trips), South East Asia (Singapore, Penang, Thailand, Java, Bali, Lombok, Philippines, Timor-Leste) and New Zealand to name just a few. He learned to Scuba Dive at the age of 13 and completed his Dive Masters certification at the age of 18. He has trekked in remote regions of Nepal for 37 days straight (in 2003 he spent a full 117 days in Nepal) and has been on mountaineering expeditions in the Nepal Himalaya; most recently climbing on Annapurna IV. Gareth also has intermediate skills in Cliff Rescue, Caving and has done Cave Diving in some remote places also.

For many years now (10+) Gareth's efforts have been in Photography with considerable new investments in Pro Nikon and Nikkor equipment to assist in achieving the best results for his street, travel and events photography...they are his tools of the trade.

Generally he prefers not to edit his photos greatly. However, if needed, he would use Photoshop CS4 or Lightroom 4 for basic sharpening, cropping and minor touchups of images.

Currently living and working in Singapore, Gareth is available for all Photographic work or any Photographic Assignment.
